The client’s brief is for a smart, small, sensible house. Smart in terms of use of space, materials selection, and energy efficiency to minimise running cost once completed.
The client’s site is in a rugged and exposed location, with fantastic views over the Cook Straight and the South Island. The design both maximises the views, and protects from the elements.
